"Dave Beauchamp directed the final episodes of my character’s story in Emmerdale. It was an emotional rollercoaster culminating in the biggest Soap stunt imaginable. Not only was it an an extraordinarily difficult task for him to undertake, it was all done through Covid times with social distancing restrictions having to be adhered to by cast and crew at ALL times.

Dave was magnificent in his orchestration of the whole piece. As a sometimes TV director myself, I was in awe of his endeavours, from the painstaking preparation for the major set pieces through to the delicate, nuanced direction I was given as a character facing his demons and his ultimate demise.

All of the above was done with a smile on his face and a generosity of spirit second to none. The man is master of his trade and a shear delight to boot... I would work with him again at the drop of a hat!"

"I have been privileged to work with Dave Beauchamp now three times on Emmerdale, personally I think we have to acknowledge his talent from an actors point of view, especially whilst filming our “THE WEEK” special on Emmerdale. His relationship with the actors, the way he gives notes, sees the bigger picture, mostly the way he cares, it comes across day after day. We feel safe in his hands, that the end product will be one we will all be so incredibly proud of. Our crew hold him in such high regard, as the volume of respect and team player comes through continuously. Dave is so caring, detail all the way. It’s detail that comes across on screen. He’s the best!!!!"

"Dave Beauchamp is the complete package director – quite simply he is a delight to work with. He has a fantastic eye, understands story and respects the script. He is calm and unflappable under pressure; he sets a lovely tone that permeates throughout the set to cast and crew as he leads from the front. But the most impressive thing about Dave is his enthusiasm for directing, he simply loves what he does and I was always really pleased with the results."

"I employed Dave as a Director on Hollyoaks. A former operator, he did the trainee scheme at Lime Pictures and stood out head and shoulders above. Dave has a fantastic eye, always brings something unexpected to the table and is a delight to work with. He is a creative director who understands the importance of both character and story and he brings a beauty to his episodes. He works well with cast and crew alike and commands a great deal of respect from everyone who knows him. He deals with tough schedules and frequent changes calmly and always supports his team. I was always delighted with his work."

Producer: Hollyoaks (Channel 4)

"It is very refreshing to come across a new director who has the ability to keep everyone, cast, crew and producers, happy while faced with the gruelling schedule of a long-running drama series. Dave Beauchamp is truly an actors' director: someone who takes an interest in the person he has cast while being able to give a well-judged note at exactly the right time to enhance a performance - all of which is evident on screen. I look forward to working with him again: he is a delight."
